Quick, what first comes to mind when you hear the words “carpentry” and “services?” Personally, before I knew what I know now, whenever I hear those words the thoughts that come up are visions of someone hammering on a piece of timber on top of a work bench. That’s summed up carpentry for me. Hammering nails in wood.
But doing some research to quench my thirst for everything carpentry (I’m fascinated with it), I found out how awesome the range of carpentry services encompass! From the littlest things to large scale projects, I am convinced that if they wanted to, carpenters can rule the world.
Look around you, what do you see? I see a cabinet, a chair, some shelves and a bed. All those are made of wood. Which are all made by a carpenter. Sure there are metal and plastic chairs now, fancy aluminum beds and cloth cabinets, but still if you make yourself aware, you will find that carpentry is all around us.
Little details in doors, and windows show the artistic side of carpenters. Then there are the doors themselves and the sidings of our windows. Notice the finely crafted chairs and exquisite posts from old houses, and you will see that carpenters are also artists.
Then, there are the huge buildings and houses. Many are now made of concrete, but you can still chance upon wooden structures that have been made by the hands of skilled carpenters. And let’s not forget the shipbuilders. Though many are metal and steel now, there are still wooden boats that are testament to the carpenter’s abilities.
Now, I mentioned that if they wanted to, carpenters can rule the world. How so? Imagine this. During meetings of the heads of states inside stately conference rooms, what are the usual materials of luxury? Wood. Now, if the carpenters made them flimsy enough to fall on their heads, killing every single head of state, they would rule the world. They can threaten everyone on the planet that all their works are timed to fail at key moments. Imagine the power they can have over the entire world! Now, my example may seem silly, but imagine the complex plans evil carpenters can come up with. We’ve all heard about evil scientists, but no evil carpenters. How so? They’re too tricky.
Of course all those are hogwash since carpenters are a cheery, helpful and kind lot. They work to help people, not destroy lives. But considering how awesome their range of abilities are, it’s like they have their own super power. Carpentry services encompass most everything in this world, and if you can find one that is skilled enough, you can employ him or her to work on your house and fix everything up all by himself all your life.
